I...I don't even know what to say!
Lets hope Michael Bay has made the Transformers Movie well enough to overlook this RIDICULOUS looking "Megatron." If not...remind me to kick him in the nuts next time I see him.

That might be a decent design if it were to be used in a movie not related to Transformers. Other than that I think it's friggin' stupid, it has no characteristics what-so-ever of the original Megatron. They're doing a decent job with the other Bots, why the shitfest for Megatron is beyond me. My guess is that it's a trick and the real Megatron design is being kept secret. (we can all hope)
Whats up with those stupid coat-hangar hands? What could he possibly do with those damn things? Scratch someones back?
I figured they had something to do with itching peoples nuts or something. Or maybe they're futuristic toothpicks. Kinda dumb if you ask me.
I read that Megatron gave them a lot of problems. They really wanted the transformations to physically work. In other words they wanted to be able to fold the robots up and get the car/jet. Since megatron's size changed all the time in the cartoon they had to make him into a tank. That doesn't look anything like the cartoon, but it sure looks cool.
Megatron doesn't even have any tank characteristics while in robot form. He looks like a pile of fucking razor wire with arms and legs. I can accept the fact they wanted to make them "work" and being a tank is pretty decent (even though there already was a tank decepticon), they should have made him more "tank like" while in robot form. Problems or not, that design is kinda over-kill when you think about Transformers. It's almost like they're trying way to hard.
I'm optimistic about the movie. Purists will have to just suck it up or stay home.
You know we're right, thats why you've resorted to the "suck it up or stay home" mentality. I'm optimistic about the actual movie, I'm just not thrilled with the Megatron design.

I'm definitely going to see it. I'm sure I will like it. If anything there's going to be alot of explosions and action. Bay's movies are pretty mindless, but you can always count on them for gratuitous violence. I just think Megatron looks stupid. He should at LEAST have the gun on his arm. Where's the fucking gun? (And for the record...he's not a tank. He's a jet. WTF?!)
