The first and most important rule of gun-running is: never get shot with your own merchandise

The two best movies I’ve seen in the last few months are Lord of War and The Constant Gardener. Jim, Kyle and my brother will like both of them, Jack and Simon will love Lords of War and /might/ like the Constant Gardener.

Note: I just reviewed two movies in three lines. This is my personal best for brevity. Also The constant Gardener takes about 30 minutes to get good.

Ya know...I actually thought Lord of War was kinda boring! Sure, it had lots of great quotes. But I thought it was gonna be more Nick Cage shooting people up (see; Face Off, The Rock). The Constant Gardener was OK.

Yeah, The Lord of War looked like it was going to be action packed, but it ended up being more like a boring National Geographic arms documentary.

The very beginging when you "live" the life of a bullet was fucking sweet, though.

Yeah, that was kick ass, quite original.

I liked it because it wasn't just another action movie. I really thought it would be and was glad to get something different.

But it did need more action in shorter intervals to break up the slow parts.
