Texas sucks because we don't have good Mexican "frozen dinner" restaurants like ChiChis. Most everything down here is true ethnic food, i.e. make sure you've stocked up on immodium when you eat the black beans and drink the water.
Hey, my sister-in-law is mexican. I know all about REAL mexican food. I like it. When we were in mexico I had fajitas for breakfast. For fucking BREAKFAST.
Don't get me wrong- good (authentic) Mexican food tastes awesome... it's just that it sometimes doesn't agree with my "yankee" lower intestinal tract. I've been trying to develop an iron gut over the past year so I can enjoy more Mexican food. But until then, I will be searching for a ChiChi's wannabe down here.
And I am serious about the water... you've got to be careful when you drink certain tap water at some restaurants.
We were told you can get the "zumes" from just drinking out of the glasses or having ice in your drink. It's very true. I didn't catch a bug but my dad did.
