These new vw commercials are targeted right at CM. I like ‘em. My fast thinks unpimp your ride is a great idea. Rygantor might disagree since one of the cars they obliterate is a Focus. But it was done by a creepy German guy so maybe he’d be okay with it. Either way these are much better than the VW=”Gay Men Who Like Sushi” ad. They don’t need to tell us that. We know the parking lot for Bareback Mountain was packed with Volkswagens and stank of wasabi covered Unagi.

I like the fact that the gay German guy (did he seem gay to you guys?) threw that ricer's car with a trebuchet. It should be mandatory to do that to ricers who go too far with their cars. (BTW, Simon, we should make our next treb that big!)
Whenever I see that commercial I just get creeped out by that German guy. I think he played Satan in "Constantine", and wasn't he the Russian astronaut in "Armaggeddon"?
Talk about a career nose-dive: You go from playing the Father of Evil in a blockbuster to playing a homo German guy in a suckass commercial.
VW did get one thing right- they've got a buzz about this ad... even though it's negative. But some companies operate under the pretense that any publicity is good publicity.
You need to listen better Simon. The tag line for the commercial is “Tuned by German engineers so you don’t have to.” I agree with Jim. At least the adds not dull. I don’t think they’ll run for a long time. Why buy a lot of adds that don’t show off your product. I like the My Fast commercials though. Those are funny.
