Crazy people with Nukes.

Vladimir Putin is the president of Russia, an ex-KGB agent and a former Olympic Judo medalist. He controls all of their nuclear arsenal and may well be completely insane. Here’s his answer to an question about Cthulu.

Asked about the possible awakening of the giant mythical octopus Cthulhu… he said that he believed something more serious was behind the question.

Here’s the link to the full article.

It's funny/interesting to hear a major world leader to talk about large mythical beasts. I think maybe he took the question as a metaphor for something else.

Either that or he was working in english and has some trouble with the language. I like his response to the question about sex also.

At least he's got Vlad to unleash on Cthulu...should he ever awaken. I'm not quite done with the ritual yet. So he's got some time.

Putin actually has thousands of "Vlads" holed up in a remote Siberian military base.
I pity any mythological beasts that set foot in Mother Russia!

I don't care how many vlads you've got. My money is on Cthulu.

Now Vlad, with the aid of the rest of Team-7...that's a different story.

Team-7? Nope, not a chance. My money is still on Cthulu.

C'mon. We'd have a fighting chance... If Mack wigged out, Tasha wasn't such a pussy, and Jack and Vlad were equiped with blackhole guns!

You guys need to stop talking about this stuff.
All this talk makes me wish we still had the SI campaign running. I'm sure Garb's has a few story arcs locked away in dry storage...

Many Arcs. Many many arcs. I thought of one the other day when I heard a radio add for an 'Amateur MMA open tournament' at a local bar. It gets weirder from there.
