Not so strange as you might think. Once upon a time on the high seas, when a sailor would die and they did not wish to have their body commenced to Davy Jone's locker. The mortal remains would be placed in a barrel of rum until the ship returned to port. The sailors named it blood rum.
How do I buy Rum by the barrel? Not dead people rum just the normal stuff.
I'm not sure where you can get a barrel. The first person I'd ask would be Lunchbox... I'm sure he and the rest of the Zeta Thetas would've been shrewd enough to purchase rum in bulk, considering how much they went thru (particularly Lunchbox alone).
