The wave machine.
Here's my first job done in Inventor. It uses the motion of the waves to push the barrel up and down, which causes a shaft to turn which can be hooked to a generator to produce free energy. It probably won't work but it was fun making it.

I remembered hearing about this whole wave/tidal power idea a while back. check it out:

It sounds like there are some places in the world where there's ALWAYS wave action (unlike Simon's waterbed).
Cool idea cohort. You're not the first person to think of it but works just fine if there's enough tidal energy.
